Susquehanna Sustainable Business Network (SSBN) is a non-profit network of businesses and social entrepreneurs who have made a commitment to managing business for the triple bottom line: People, Planet, and Profit. We are local business people, professionals, investors, and not-for-profit leaders who are committed to building a more socially, environmentally, and financially sustainable economy — a local, living economy. SSBN activities include meeting and planning with local business districts in York and Lancaster Counties to help build a local living economy. We also strive to educate the community on the benefits of a local economy, and promote strong inter-member business relationships to help keep our businesses and area economies strong. A committed and connected community buys more local and environmentally healthy products and services, contributing to a strong triple bottom line: healthier people, a protected planet and sustainable profit.
