Green Pages advertising rates.

Want to place an ad in The Green Pages?

Your advertising dollars keep The Green Pages going. If you want to help grow a local, sustainable economy, consider supporting the directory by advertising your business. You will be marketing directly to your customer base?—?people who are looking for sustainable alternatives. Please make checks out to ssbn and mail to P.O. Box 42 Marietta, PA 17547. Ads can be submitted by email to ssbn@embarqmail.com.

Advertising rates for 2008

  • $575 full page back and inside covers (4X10)
  • $450 full page (4x10)
  • $225 half page (4x5)
  • $85 business card (2.5x1.5)
  • $85 coupon ($65 if you place an ad!)

Deadline August 1, 2008.

Submitting an ad
Advertisements can be submitted by email to ssbn@embarqmail.com. Below are specifications for submitting an ad.

  • Illustrator, FreeHand, or CorelDraw EPS files: photos embedded and fonts should be embedded or outlines.
  • High-resolution PDF file from a design program (PDFs from Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher are acceptable for text-only ads, no graphics).
  • High-resolution TIF or JPEG (300 dpi minimum at 100 percent of the ad's dimensions).
  • InDesign files with fonts and linked graphics.
  • Laser-printed hard copy to scan (no inkjet printers) for text-only ads.

How to join ssbn

To become an ssbn member, please click here: JOIN

This will take you to the Registration page of the Marketplace, where you can fill out and submit a form to join as a Business Member or Community Member (Individual).  Once you submit the form, we will contact you about membership dues and will include you in the Marketplace searchable database.  The rates are described below. 

Business Members: Local and Independently Owned Businesses and Organizations receive all benefits of membership.


Membership fee based on annual revenue

Under $100,000..................................... 12 months $150

$100,000 - $250,000................................ 12 months $250

Over $250,000....................................... 12 months $350

Sustaining Member................................ 12 months $1,000
monthly payments of $85 OR one payement of $1,000
